My more recent experiences of walking and sketching along the coastal path has brought back memories of my childhood, islands of shellfish and the tides going so far out, almost beyond sight. The Geology of the coastline, with tidal changes are the source of my mixed media prints, experimenting with a combination of techniques to recreate the ethereal nature where the land meets the sea.

In these times of climate change, at the fore front of my thoughts is my observation that the seas are claiming back more and more of our coastline,

and that these forces are interconnected. I wish to relate to this powerful force in my work.
